YOUR QUESTIONS, MY ANSWERS

Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about my consultations, training courses and coaching in Feng Shui, geobiology and biophilia…

General Questions

Feng Shui is the art of harmonising and optimising the energies and forces present in a space, whether it be a flat, a house or a workplace. It organises the space, the flow of movement and the elements to create a balanced, pleasant and supportive environment for its occupants. The aim is to promote well-being, serenity and a sense of flow in everyday life.

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art that organises and harmonises space to promote balance, comfort and flow within a place’s indoor and outdoor environments, thereby supporting the well-being and prosperity of its occupants. Geobiology, a European and more technical discipline, analyses and works with telluric influences (faults, water currents, waves) to create a healthy environment and protect its inhabitants. Biophilia, a modern concept validated by science, integrates living elements into spaces (plants, natural light, natural materials) to reduce stress, stimulate creativity and strengthen the human connection with nature. The three disciplines are highly complementary and may overlap in certain areas.

Harmonising a space has a direct impact on physical, mental and emotional health. A well-designed space promotes muscle relaxation and regulates breathing, heart rate and blood pressure, whilst improving cognitive function and concentration and supporting emotional balance. It also contributes to more harmonious relationships and greater alignment with your personal or professional goals.

Yes, it is suitable for both individuals and professionals. Everyone can benefit from it to improve the flow of energy in their home or workplace, enhance their well-being, foster better relationships and support their personal or professional goals.

Ideally before making a purchase, building a new property or carrying out a renovation, but also for an existing space where you sense an imbalance or feel uncomfortable. It helps to identify areas of disruption and suggests appropriate solutions to protect the health and energy of the space.

About consultations

A Feng Shui consultation begins with a discussion to understand your needs, lifestyle or business. It continues with an analysis of the space (either on-site or based on the information provided), followed by personalised, practical recommendations tailored to your environment. A written report can also be provided to assist with implementation.

The duration of a Feng Shui consultation varies depending on the nature of the project. It can range from a one-off advisory session lasting around 1½ hours to support spanning several months, or even comprehensive guidance on large-scale design or fit-out projects. Each consultation is tailored to the needs and scope of the project.

Assessments can be carried out on-site or remotely, depending on the nature of the project, its scope and the area to be assessed. However, an on-site visit is generally recommended, and may even be essential for certain analyses requiring a detailed assessment of the environment.

Yes, certain details are required in advance to ensure the analysis is as thorough as possible. These may include a floor plan of the property, the date of construction or the last renovation, the property’s address, and the dates and places of birth of the occupants. Photos of the various rooms may also be requested to help refine the analysis, as well as an information questionnaire.

All types of spaces can be analysed, from the micro (an office, a room) to the macro (a building, a neighbourhood). Feng Shui forms part of a holistic approach aimed at improving living and working environments by harmonising the interactions between people and their surroundings.

In the spaces in question

Yes, Feng Shui applies to all types of dwellings, and particularly to houses. The analysis is all the more relevant when it takes into account both the interior and the external environment. Ideally, it should be carried out at the design or renovation stage in order to influence the layout, orientation, architecture and openings of the property.

Yes, Feng Shui is perfectly suited to professional environments: offices, medical practices, shops, restaurants, hotels, wellness centres and corporate headquarters. Every space can be optimised to improve its functionality, atmosphere and the dynamics at play within it.

Yes, I work with both shops and offices. For shops, the aim is to optimise the space in order to boost appeal, footfall and the customer experience. For offices, the aim is to improve the quality of life at work and team dynamics.

Yes, I provide support for both construction and renovation projects. The earlier the Feng Shui consultation takes place (ideally from the moment the plot of land is chosen), the more effective it is, as it allows us to influence the very foundations of the project and optimise its balance in the long term.

Yes, consulting a Feng Shui practitioner before a purchase is particularly advisable. This helps to identify any imbalances in the property and anticipate their impact, enabling you to make an informed choice that suits your needs and your life plans.

About geobiology

Ideally before buying, building or renovating a property, but also for an existing space where you sense imbalances or feel uncomfortable. It helps to identify disturbed areas and suggest appropriate solutions to protect the health and energy of the space.

It detects areas where energy flows poorly or is disrupted, due to natural anomalies (faults, underground watercourses) or man-made factors (electromagnetic waves, buildings). These imbalances can affect sleep, concentration or general well-being.

Yes, geobiology complements Feng Shui perfectly. Whilst Feng Shui focuses on the harmony of spaces and energy flows, geobiology identifies the invisible influences of the land and the environment, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the layout.

On biophilia

It reduces stress, improves concentration and stimulates creativity by re-establishing a sensory connection with nature. Spaces become more pleasant, vibrant and rejuvenating, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of those who use them

Yes, it can be incorporated simply through the use of plants, natural light, organic materials and textures, colours inspired by nature, or decorative elements that evoke the natural world. There’s no need for major renovation work to enjoy its benefits.
